MSI Presents 5 New X-Slim Notebooks, Marking An Evolution Of The Line Of Ultra-Thin Laptops

MSI Computer is excited to announce five new X-Slim Ultraportable notebooks at CES 2010. The new line-up includes the 13-inch X350 and X360, 14-inch X420, 15.6-inch X600 Pro, and the 2010 German iF Product Design Award winning 15.6-inch X620. Each member of the X-Slim family features Intel’s power saving CULV platform, an updated Intel Core 2 Duo dual core processor, and a stylish design.

The X620 is outfitted with a 2-spindle optical drive, 16:9 cinematic LED backlit display, HD output support, built-in ATi Mobility Radeon HD Discrete graphics card, and MSI’s 3D Boost button to deliver the ultimate mobile movie watching experience. One push of the 3D Boost Button switches the notebook to single display mode, instantly increasing video performance.

The X350 and X360 weigh just 3.31 pounds and are less than an inch thick at their widest point. Their energy efficient CPU combines with a 4-cell battery that sits flush with the laptop’s base to deliver a battery life of up to 9 hours when in ECO mode.

Like the X350 and X360, the larger X420 features MSI’s new distinctive Chicklet Keyboard with raised keys. The X420 also features MSI's Color Film Print technology which provides a unique design and is available in Cappuccino Brown. The X420 also supports both 3.5G and WiMAX.
