ASUS today announces the launch of the ASUS X Series Color notebooks. Building on the popularity of the other models that came in midnight blue and titanium grey, this new range of colorful 14-inch notebooks come in hues of include pink, red, white and blue.
The X Series has an ergonomic, streamlined design that houses a host of user-friendly features that include a chiclet keyboard, a touchpad with Palm Proof Technology, and Power4Gear power management system.

Expressing Personalities Through Color
The X Series Color notebooks will come in four new vibrant colors (Feisty Red, Brilliant Blue, Pretty-in-Pink, and Cool White) with a patterned, cascading finish. In-mold roller (IMR) technology provides a glossy, scratch-resistant surface.
Ergonomically Designed
The X Series Color notebooks come with an ergonomic chiclet keyboard with wide anti-dust keys that preserve user comfort even after extended periods of use.
The X Series has an ergonomic, streamlined design that houses a host of user-friendly features that include a chiclet keyboard, a touchpad with Palm Proof Technology, and Power4Gear power management system.
It comes with a Multi-touch touchpad which lets users easily scroll through webpages as well as pinch-zoom in and out of images. The touchpad comes with ASUS’ proprietary Palm Proof Technology, a system which distinguishes between the contact surfaces of palms and fingers to prevent inadvertent cursor movements during typing.

ASUS X Series Color notebooks feature the latest processors from Intel and AMD. It comes with ASUS Power4Gear—an intelligent power management system that helps prolong battery life by adjusting the power settings to suit the computing task at hand.
The X Series notebooks deliver quality visuals through its discrete ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 graphics processor with 1GB DDR3 VRAM—giving an immersive multimedia experience through a 14-inch 16:9 high definition LED-backlit panels and Altec Lansing® speakers with SRS Premium Sound™.
HDMI compatibility ensures that the X Series works with TVs, video game consoles, and other devices.
