Samsung Adds N210, N150 And NB30 To Bring Speed, Affordablity And Ruggedness To Netbook Computing
Samsung Electronics announces the launch of three new netbooks at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the N210, N150 and NB30. Samsung, which first entered the netbook category last year, continues to innovate based on the past success and customer feedback to introduce new models perfect for travel, with the portability and ease of use its customers have come to expect.

Samsung N210
“The portability of netbooks means that consumers expect to be able to use them in any situation, all day long. We have incorporated a number of design and feature elements to turn this into reality,” said Todd Bouman, director of product marketing at Samsung Electronics Information Technology Division.. “Battery life keeps getting longer while our engineers devise ways for start up to be shorter. This, along with the multitude of design enhancements allows your netbook to keep up with your lifestyle no matter where it takes you.”
The Samsung NB30, crafted with the active user in mind, has a number of features designed to protect both the shell and the internal components from the bumps and shocks that on-the-go portable computer owners often experience.
Immediate Access All Day Long
HyperSpace Instant On capability allows the N210 to turn on and immediately go online without waiting for Windows to boot and all three models feature Smart Power Management which conserves battery power. Samsung’s N210 lasts all day with a 12 hour battery life and the N150 and NB30 stand the test of time with 8.5 hour battery time. These features make netbooks ideal for use all day long at home where in conjunction with other DLNA devices to share files, or on the road.
Designed With The User In Mind
The Samsung N210 and N150 are designed to deliver outstanding performance and value for the money to meet the demands of almost any user. Both models are available in a vibrant array of color choices to meet the user’s personal style.
The Samsung NB30, crafted with the active user in mind, has a number of features designed to protect both the shell and the internal components from the bumps and shocks that on-the-go portable computer owners often experience. These include a free-fall sensor which automatically parks the HDD spindle, helping avoid damage to the hard drive if the netbook is dropped, and a specially-designed durable casing. The netbook also incorporates a water-tight seal around the system to prevent potential damage from contact with up to 50cc of spilled liquid.
Combining Features And Value
Samsung netbooks are designed to deliver outstanding design and value for money. All three models sport a 10.1” anti-reflective LED display to give users fine-tuned images with the sharpest details and boldest colors, and offer an integrated Digital LiveCam for video conferencing or live messaging. Each model also incorporates an Intel ATOM N450 processor and run on Windows 7 with 1GB DDR2 memory. They will be available from Samsung Resellers beginning immediately with a recommended price of $349 (N150) and $379 (NB30 and N210). All products come with Samsung’s one-year warranty.
